I started with the curiosity of meeting an Indian person~
We are a couple who goes on dates every weekend!
We are content now with our relationship, we have placed our future in destiny's hands~~^^

 Brief self introduction
1) Where do you live now?   Inchon si , Bupyung gu
2) Where is your hometown? Seoul , Inchon
3) What is your nationality? Korean
4) What is your occupation?
I work for a German company in Korea as a manager in their office.

 Who sent the firs wink/mail?
In Nov of 2007 I was searching for people living near me. I saw Naveen’s profile. Then Naveen sent me a wink and we exchanged mail and met.

How did you feel when you saw your friend’s profile at first?
He was very tall and has a muscular body.
I felt that he was honest and straight forward.
He even received his master’s degree and well educated.
I felt that he was very intellectual.
Also I was very curious, since I’ve never met an Indian person before.

Tell us about your first date. ( Any funny situations )
At the time I was getting my teeth corrected and wearing a transparent retainer. At the Indian restaurant that we went to Naveen saw me taking out my retainer and he was very shocked. He thought I had no teeth and was wearing dentures. And sometimes he still speaks about that day and teases me.

What is your current relationship situation (dating, friends, marriage)
We meet every weekend as dating partners. Also if we end work early on weekdays we meet and eat dinner together. Lately we end work late so we can’t meet on weekdays. Usually on Friday nights we meet to have dinner and watch a movie or sometimes we go traveling as well.
 What are your future plans?
We both are not straightforward or talk openly about marriage not yet.
If we do get married there are a few things that would be complicated to handle, such as where to live, how we would work, our different cultures.
Right now we are content as how we are, so we are just going to take it and see how it goes.
We are curious what destiny has in store for our future.

Word of advice to UBLove members who want to meet someone special?
I think if your purpose is to learn English making a foreign dating partner is not a really good idea. To really not have too many expectations is the best thing. I think the best thing is to just try to make a good friend. It is a must to be able to understand other cultures and speak English at a conversational level. And I hope just because you have a foreign friend you don’t just eat and sleep together right away. I don’t think doing that will increase your English ability. I think you should already have a base of English to really make a friend.
